Administration of personal data
According to the Act of 29 August 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item. 926, with changes - hereafter "the Act") Pekao Bank Poland SA with its registered office in Warsaw, Żubra 1 inform, that is being Administrator of personal data, given by you in the dedicated form of given by you in the dedicated form personal data. Bank collects only data that will be used to provide a service you selected, to answer the query directed to the Bank for the purposes of advertising marketing banking products, provide information on the Bank's offer, and archival and statistical. Disclosure of personal data
Completed by The Bank personal data may be disclosed to the group to which the Bank for purposes of your service.

Other data collection

The Bank uses cookie files to collect information related to your use of the Services by Users and does not collect any automated other information about the User. Services for each of the Bank may be used for various cookies. This action is not collecting or processing personal data. The services of the Bank cookies are used to:
adapt web content to the Service User preferences and optimizing the use of the websites, in particular, these files allow the user to identify the device and properly display the Service website, tailored to their individual needs;
to create statistics that help to understand how users navigate through the service, to use the Service Members of the websites, which can improve the structure and content;
the maintenance of the Service User sessions (after logging in), so the user does not have on every page of the Service re-enter login and password;

Can I opt out of accepting cookies?

Default block cookies

  • If you select this check box to reject the site from third-party cookies, even if the site has been added to the list of exceptions and can create cookies on your computer.

Bank informs, that at the time of connection to the Site by you, the system logs information appears with the number (including IP) and the type of end-user devices, as well as the time of connection to the Service, and other operating data on user activity on the Site. Bank for technical processes this information in accordance with the rules in force on the territory of the Polish law.

The Bank declares that it will endeavor to provide you with a high level of safety in the use of the Services, through appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access.

Data on users of this website is collected in order to optimize it's performance can be accounted for and disclosed in the form of statistics, but these statistics do not include data to identify users.

Modification or deletion of personal data
We inform you about the right according to the Act of accessing to your personal data, modify or delete them.
The Bank reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, at the same time ensure that your rights under this document will not be reduced without his consent. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this page.


Privacy Policy and use of cookies in mobile applications of Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spólka Akcyjna.: (hereafter referred to as "Applications")

Administration of personal data

According to the Act of 29 August 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws 2016.922 j.t. with changes - hereafter "the Act") Pekao Bank Poland SA with its registered office in Warsaw, Żubra 1 inform, that is being Administrator of personal data given by you in the dedicated form. Completion and submission of the contact form located in the given service results in transfer of the personal data contained in the form.

Bank collects only data that will be used to provide a service you selected, to answer the query directed to the Bank, for the purposes of advertising and marketing of banking products, provide information on the Bank's offer, and archival and statistical. The data provided by you during the use of the Applications are protected with an encrypted connection.

Disclosure of personal data

Personal data gathered by the Bank may be disclosed within the capital group to which the Bank belongs to for purposes of your service.

The collected personal data will not be disclosed to any other person or party, except when it will be required by the binding law or appropriate agreement will be signed guaranteeing the protection of your rights and privacy.


Other data collection

Cookie files (so-called "cookies") are computer data, especially text files, that are stored in the mobile device of Application User.

Bank uses cookie files to collect information related with the Application usage by the Users and does not automatically collect any other information about the User. This action is not meant for collecting or processing personal data.


In Bank's Applications the cookie files may be used to:

  • adapt the content of the Applications to the User's; in particular, these files allow to identify the User's device and properly adapt the Application to its individual needs;
  • remeber some of the User's data to simplify the Application's login process;
  • create statistics that help to understand how Application Users navigate through it, which can improve its structure and the content of the Application;
  • maintain the User's session (after logging in), so the User does not have to login again on every subpage of the transactional part.


Can I opt out of accepting cookies?
Activities related to storing and sending cookies done by mobile devices are invisible to the User. There is no possibility to turn off the cookies by using the Application settings or mobile device configuration. User who does not accept cookies should not install the Application and use it to log in to the Pekao24 service. In case of resignation from the acceptance of cookies during the use of the Application it should be uninstalled.

We kindly remind that access to Pekao24 service is also possible in services which allow the access to the transactional part with simultaneous resignation of cookie acceptance.

Bank informs that at the moment when User is connecting to the Application in system logs appears information about the number (including IP) and the type of User's mobile device as well as connection time to the Application and other operating data concerning User's activity within the Application. Bank processes this information for technical reasons in accordance with law binding on the territory of Republic of Poland.

Bank declares that it endeavors to provide the User with a high level of security in the use of the Application, through appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards of data against their accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, unauthorized disclosure or access, as well as in cases of unauthorized access to mobile device with an installed and active Application.

Data concerning the Users of the Application collected in order to optimize their functioning can be recognized and disclosed in the form of statistics, while the statistics do not contain personally identifiable information.

The client number is stored within the mobile device on which the Application is installed. These information are removed when uninstalling the Application.

Permissions required by the Applications

Applications may gain access to the following permissions:
1. Location and device memory - required for findings points on the map,
2 .Internet connection - required to establish a connection with the Bank,
3. Camera - required to scan QR codes and find points when using the augmented reality (AR),
4. Calendar - required to:

  • acquire information if the calendar is available on the device and if reminders may be added to it (eg. about the credit card repayment),
  • adding reminders (eg. about credit card repayment) to the calendar,

5. Contacts - required to read and complete on the transfer or top-up form the following information from the details of selected contact:

  • Name of the recipient,
  • Address,
  • Account number (if it's added in the contact details),
  • Phone number,

6. Phone - required to make a phone call by choosing the Bank's phone numbers within the Application,
7. Device ID - required for security reasons to connect device with the user in Pekao24 service and PeoPay,
8. Biometrics - required to obtain from the biometrics module the result of user authorization, if this method is selected,
9. User accounts - required for PUSH notifications,
10. NFC - required for proximity payments,
11. SMS messages - allows for automatic completion on the activation form of the activation code sent via SMS during the PeoPay activation,
12. Vibrations - required for notifying about the waiting payment in PeoPay application,
13. Prevent device from sleeping - required for device not to switch off the screen while performing transaction in PeoPay application.
The scope of access depends on the Application. Permissions may be changed or modified by changing them in system permissions.

Permissions required by PeoPay KIDS application

PeoPay KIDS application may gain access to the following functionalities:

  1. Internet connection - for checking if the device is connected to the internet and to establish a connection with the Bank,
  2. Contacts reading - required to read and complete on the transfer or top-up form the following information from the details of selected contact in mobile phone:
    • Name of the recipient,
    • Address,
    • Account number (if it's added in the contact details),
    • Phone number,
  3. Biometrics - to obtain from the biometrics module the result of user authorization, if this method of authorization is selected,
  4. Camera - to take photos that can be used as visualization of goals in the PeoPay KIDS application,
  5. Local storage on the phone's memory card - only for saving and reading on the phone's memory card pictures shown in “piggybanks” in the PeoPay KIDS application.

Modification or deletion of personal data

We inform you about the right of accessing to your personal data, modify or delete them, according to the Act.

The Bank reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, at the same time ensure that User rights under this document will not be reduced without his consent. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this page.
