Management Boards

The Management Board of Bank Pekao SA is composed of seven members. Members of the Management Board are appointed by the Supervisory Board for a joint three-year term of office. The Management Board ensures that the management system at the Bank is transparent and effective, and runs the Bank's affairs in compliance with applicable laws and Best Practices. The core values underlying the management of the Bank are professionalism, reliability and confidentiality.

MICHAŁ KRUPIŃSKI

President of the Management Board

Chief Executive Officer of Bank Pekao S.A. in charge of the bank since June 2017.
Prior to joining the bank, Mr. Krupiński held number of senior managerial roles in leading financial institutions. Most recently, as CEO of PZU Group, region’s largest financial group, he repositioned the firm for growth and strengthened its presence in banking. Previously, since 2011, Mr. Krupiński was Head of Global Banking and Markets for Central and Eastern Europe at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, responsible for M&A projects, financings and capital advisory.
Mr. Krupiński has also a broad-based public sector experience. Between 2008-2011 he was Alternate Executive Director at Board of Directors of the World Bank Group in Washington. Prior to this, he served as Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Treasury.
Mr. Krupiński graduated from Warsaw School of Economics, KU Leuven and has MBA degree from Columbia University. In 2012 he was named Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum.

Vice President of the Management Board supervising the Financial Division

For last 16 years he has been professionally associated with Bank Pekao S.A. In addition, since 2018 he has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Pekao Bank Hipoteczny S.A. where in 2011 - 2015 he was a Member of the Supervisory Board, whereas from 2017 he is a Member of the Supervisory Board of Pekao Investment Banking and the Supervisory Board of Pekao Leasing.
He started his career in finance division in controlling area. For the last years, he held the position of Managing Director of the Department of Capital Allocation and Asset and Liability Management, responsible for managing the Bank's balance sheet, liquidity and capital. Graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics. He holds CFA and PRM (Professional Risk Manager) certificates, was honored by Award of Merit by the international PRMIA organization, associating risk managers.

MICHAŁ PIOTR LEHMANN

Vice President of the Management Board supervising the Operations and Services Division

He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics with a degree in finance and banking. As a long-term employee of the Ministry of Treasury, he carried out tasks related to ownership supervision and commercialization of state-owned enterprises. As the Director of Ownership Supervision and Privatization, he was responsible for, among other things, the implementation of the Government Program for Power Engineering, one of which was the consolidation of the sector. He was a member of the Accounting Standards Committee, which develops national accounting standards in Poland.

Vice President of the Management Board supervising the Risk Management Division

Since 17 years working for Bank Pekao Group. Till June 2017 he has worked in Unicredit SpA (Milan) as a Senior Vice President, with a global responsibility for market and traded credit risk management and a member of Unicredit Corporate and Investment Banking Markets; Executive Committee, in charge of risk management. Previously, from 2010 till 2013 he has worked in Unicredit Bank AG (formerly Hypovereinsbank) in Munich, supervising market, counterparty credit and operational risks management. From 2008 till 2010, he was Unicredit's Global Head of Market Risk Architecture and Methodologies.
Previously, from 2000 till 2008 he has been Market Risk Trading Book Unit, Managing Director, Head of Financial Risk Department.

He has been in charge of the corporate banking business since December 2018. From July 2017 to December 2018 he oversaw SME division at Bank Pekao S.A. He started his professional career in 2001 in Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A.’s Corporate Banking Division. He was the Director of Corporate Banking responsible for managing the sales structure. He was also the Director of Relations with Large Corporate Customers and Director of the Department Development and Acquisition in Corporate Banking.

Vice President of Bank Pekao SA Management Board supervising Retail Banking Division and Private Banking Division

He has been in charge of the retail banking business since July 2017, and additionally since December 2018 he has been overseeing private banking division. Mr Tomczuk has 18 years of experience in the banking sector. For 10 years now he has been managing distribution networks in the areas of business and retail banking. Marek Tomczuk started his career in Bank Handlowy w Warszawie SA, in the field of corporate banking, where he worked as Regional Transactional and Investment Banking Sales Director and afterwards, in the Retail Banking Division - as CitiBusiness Network Director. He later took the position of Sales Director in the SME segment of Bank DNB Nord, a member of the DNB Group - Norway's largest financial group. As Department Director in Kredyt Bank SA (KBC Group) is was responsible for building independent business line and management of SME sales network. He belonged to a core group of managers working on merger of Kredyt Bank and Bank Zachodni WBK SA, in which he took a post of head of Retail Macro-Region

In 2018 she started work in Bank Pekao S.A. as Managing Director in Corporate Banking Department and on Dec. 1 she took over as the bank’s Vice President. She started her professional career in 1999 in Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. in Retail Banking Sector. She continued in Corporate Banking division, taking on various leadership roles in the lender's regional structures. These included a position of Head of Sales for Northern Region and Head of Public Sector for Regions in the Department of Public Sector.
Having worked for almost twenty years in the banking industry she has gained extensive experience both in general banking operations, including in particular the areas of sales, risk, operations and foreign-currency market, as well as in various customers segments, such as retail clients, small, medium and large companies, institutional clients, public sector clients and international corporations.

The Supervisory Board of Bank Pekao SA is composed of members, appointed by the General Shareholders Meeting for a joint three-year term of office. The rights and obligations of Supervisory Board are specified in the Commercial Companies Code and the Bank's Statute.
