Aleksander Werner

A legal adviser with over 20 years’ experience in advising financial institutions, listed companies and regulatory bodies. He currently serves or had served on the boards of companies in sectors including insurance (PolishRe – Polskie Towarzystwo Reasekuracji S.A.), recycling (Energa Organizacja Odzysku S.A.), and manufacturing (Cementowania Kraków-Nowa Huta). Head of the Department of Tax and Customs Law at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), associate professor at SGH, holder of a postdoctoral degree in law and a doctorate in economics, specialising in financial law, tax law and the capital market (the author of over 100 publications in these fields).
