dr hab. Beata Kozłowska–Chyła - Bank Pekao S.A.

Currently serves as President of the Management Board of PZU S.A. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw as a Ph.D. in Law, and subsequently the scientific degree of habilitated doctor of law. 

She is a lecturer in the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw in the Department of Commercial Law. Practicing as a legal advisor, she is a recommended arbitrator in the Arbitration Court at the National Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. 

She has served as a member of the Supervisory Board of PZU S.A., member of the Supervisory Boards of TFI PZU S.A. and PTE PZU S.A. and she was twice a member of the Management Board of PZU S.A. She was also a member of the Management Board of PZU Życie S.A. She also served as a deputy director of the Legal and Licensing Department in the Pension Fund Regulatory Authority and served as the President of the Management Board of Polskie Wydawnictwo Ekonomiczne S.A.

Currently, Ms Beata Kozłowska–Chyła is the Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of PZU Życie S.A.. She is also a member of the Audit Committee of the Polish Insurance Association and a member of the Council of the Insurance Guarantee Fund. 

She is an author of dozens of scientific publications in the field of company law, securities law and insurance law, published in renowned Polish and foreign journals, as well as author of popularization articles.
