Bank Pekao S.A. once again a partner of the charity event "The Great Expedition of Toddlers for Children"

Bank Pekao has also become an active partner in the initiative "Great Expedition of Little Ones for Children" this year. This unique event aims to raise funds for children injured in accidents and to promote safety education in road traffic. The Pekao team, in a red Fiat 126p with a bison on the hood, joined nearly a hundred Fiat 126ps and set off on a route of over five thousand kilometers, covering a trip around the Baltic Sea and then through Poland to Krakow. The expedition's finale will take place on July 17 in the Krakow market square.

– Engaging in the Great Little Expedition is primarily a social responsibility for us. Through this initiative, we want to give children affected by road accidents a chance to recover and return to a normal life. The accompanying educational activities of this campaign are of great significance, as they not only increase the knowledge and awareness of young people about safety but also shape their responsible attitudes as future drivers and participants in road traffic – says Jorge Sánchez, the director of the Marketing Department at Bank Pekao S.A.

Each "little one" and their crew has their own piggy bank "Pucha dla Malucha". The initiative can be supported by contributing a symbolic amount to the virtual collection box available on the site: [Pucha dla Malucha] Bank Pekao SA | Collection for (zrzutka.pl).

The expedition, initiated by legends of Polish motorsport such as: Sobiesław Zasada, Rafał Sonik, Kajetan Kajetanowicz, and Marcin Małysz, aims to raise funds for three key areas: treatment and rehabilitation of children injured in accidents, educational activities regarding road safety, and improvement of road infrastructure. During the previous two editions, a total of 7.3 million zlotys was raised, which was allocated to support victims of accidents and educate the youngest participants in traffic.
